The state-of-the-art handpiece is designed to deliver radiofrequency to selected areas of the epidermis (the outer layer of the skin) using an array of micro-electrode pins. TriFractional is a micro-ablative skin resurfacing treatment, where superficial channels are created in the skin triggering the body’s healing cascade. This regenerative procedure not only resurfaces the skin, but also induces formation of collagen and elastin, and leads to a noticeable improvement in skin tone, texture and overall quality.

The latest generetion technology delivered by the LipoFirm MED has been designed to ensure that discomfort and post-treatment downtime is minimal.
During the treatment, you will feel a prickling sensation as the energy is delivered into the skin. The treated area may feel warm, and a little sensitive, and some people may appear flushed for a period of time after treatment. After 24 to 48 hours, you will notice that the skin feels a little rough as miniscule scabs have formed. These will shed over the following days and you should avoid scrubbing them off. Reactions vary over a course of treatments, but most redness will settle within an hour or 2 of the treatment. If the neck and décolleté are treated, these areas tend to show more of a reaction, and as the skin is very different to that of the face, some redness may continue for 24 to 48 hours. Limit your sun exposure and apply adequate sunscreen for a few weeks following your TriFractional Skin Resurfacing.

If you undergo a course of treatments, your doctor may recommend that you are suitable for higher settings for your TriFractional treatments to enhance your results further. In some cases, your doctor may recommend use of a topical numbing cream prior to these advanced treatments.

Your doctor will recommend a course of between 3 to 6 treatments, conducted 2 to 4 weeks apart. TriFractional is combined with VoluDerm and the LipoFirm FaceLift as part of the Pyramid FaceLift. A course of 3 Pyramid FaceLifts will be conducted a 2-weekly intervals.

In some cases, your doctor may discuss use of LED Phototherapy or PRP Plasma Performance Therapy© in conjunction with your VoluDerm or TriFractional treatments in order to enhance the results and reduce downtime further.
