Conventional HRT are licensed ready-made medications used for treatment of menopausal symptoms. They are synthetic. Bio-identical HRT are obtained from plant sources. They are prescribed as compounded preparations which means they are made for each patient. This gives us more flexibility in creating tailored treatment plans.
